We had an amazing experience; the location is perfect for a calm and cozy break from our busy life. The high tea events by the pool were so happening and engaging. The food was very good, staying for 4 days and eating at same place 3 times a day never felt repeated, it was very fresh and tasty with variations on cuisine every day. Chef Mr. Rajmohan was the best; he took special care and attention making sure all were happy!!

Fantastic property and hospitality! I had my 87 year old mom in law with me. Right from the reception to the chef ensured she was taken care of! Food was specifically made for her and the chef would always come and speak personally to her and check if she liked it! Fantastic team! Lovely Taj! We made some amazing memories here and will cherish it forever!

The picturesque location of this property and the access to the Banasura dam and activities around are the best part of Taj Wayanad. The cottages face the lake and have an unobstructed view of the water with sunrise & sunsets sights. I do wish however that the cottages were more spacious. They are pretty much the size of a standard room which does not give you a feel of being in a spread out space. The 2 restaurants and the bar are very well appointed with curated menus and a super attentive team. Special mention to Chef Rajmohan at Shamiana and his team for engaging with guests and customising needs. Good thought given to evening activity at high tea for the weekend with a tasteful music program that caters to all age groups! Full marks to the team at Taj Wayanad for the experience and service! A memorable stay indeed.

The resort is simply beautiful with water in the surround. I had to go there for one day only and the booking was done the same day morning due to bad experience at another resort the reservation team Sujit was very supportive in confirming the rooms. The Manager Prabhakar is simply amazing he was there for us from the point we checked in till we check out and gave all the required information and talked to us with smile always. All the staff looked well suited for their roles. Overall we family of 4 had an amazing experience and would like to go for more days in future. There is an elephant for kids to Enjoy along with indoor and outdoor games beautiful infinity pool. Only room service at times was bit slow however with all amazing things I could ignore this during stay.

Taj Wayanad is wonderfully situated alongside the dam's water expanse. The sight from our room's balcony and sitting area left us enchanted. The room designs were exquisite, and the entire property was impressive. The dining establishments provided picturesque water views and served incredibly delicious meals. We especially enjoyed the Wayanad Coffee, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The staff was exceptional, with the only area needing enhancement being the telephone responsiveness. My visit coincided with the Onam festival.

Stayed there with my family for 2 days and had the fantastic time. The rooms were extremely clean with all the luxury amenities. Bedsheets and towels were maintained really well. Service was phenomenal. They were all just a phone call away and were at our service whenever required. Special mention to Abhiram for taking care of us well during breakfast and dinner times. Food at both the restaurants was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Special shout to all the staff for their the personable nature and special attention to all our needs. Location of this resort was phenomenal and the infinity pool has enhanced the beauty of this place. I would highly recommend this resort for a nice relaxing, rejuvenated and personalised experience!

This is an amazing resort - very aesthetically pleasing design, newly built, manned by polite and courteous staff (always trying to help). Not to mention the great location - right next to the dam, in the midst of lush greenery, close to many places to see and things to do. Absolutely quiet, spacious and comfortable. Special callout to Chef Saleem for being very flexible and courteous. The restaurants are terrific - superb spread and taste. All in all, a memorable experience. Spa service is average, seen much better elsewhere. There is good internet coverage, but the only thing missing is a Smart TV, so bring your iPads if you want to watch.

I'm glad I wasn't staying at this resort, as I'm unsure how the full experience would have been. Because the experience I had with my wife and two other friends is to go by, take your money elsewhere.... 3 stars for the beauty of the place. …
